Magic and mistery ...

     Thomas Guesthouse is another renovated old Saxon house. The architects worked hard to preserve the old-style of the house, keeping the hard wooden floor and doors in the rooms and all internal walls. They imposed also a medieval wrought iron style concept for this three-star pension. Bathrooms were re-equipped with old-style furniture.

     A large traditional gate provides access to a inner courtyard of 400 sqm, where guests will also find a nice, traditional barn. The courtyard offers intimate space for private events, BBQ, etc, or playground for children.

The guesthouse is placed right in front of Unglerus Restaurant, with easy access and visibility from the main square of Biertan and a great view to the fortress. It has an excellent position and the best proximity to the restaurant and the fortified church.

        The beautiful cellar of this old Saxon house offers a usable surface of some 75 sqm, which can be arranged for various purposes accommodating needs of the guests.

               Thomas Guesthouse offers 2 suites of about 100 square meters, located on the lower and upper floor.

  - 1 suite (lower floor) is divided as follows: the entrance is a large living room with a wrought iron table and chairs, a comfortable sofa bed; the large windows open in the central square of Biertan and in the inner courtyard with playground for children and an old Saxon barn. From the living room there is direct access to the two bedroom with one double bed or two twin beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with spacious bath tube.

  - 1 suite (upper floor) is divided as follows: the entrance is a large living room with a wrought iron table and chairs, a comfortable sofa bed where can sleep up to 2 children or one adult (upper suite); the large windows open in the central square of Biertan and in the inner courtyard with playground for children and an old Saxon barn. From the living room there is direct access to the two bedroom with one double bed or two twin beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with spacious bath tube.         The items which impose in Unglerus the medieval style (wrought iron, furniture Saxon, medieval paintings with scenes etc.) will be found in Thomas too, where, in addition, the occasional vivid and dynamic colors can surprise us from time to time. Such a house with six accommodation places is the ideal for 2 families or for bigger families with children.

          It is also used as 4 double rooms (one with matrimonial bed and three with twin beds) and each of them have a private bathroom. The living rooms can be used by all guests.
